The European Safer Gambling Week (ESGW) returns for its fifth edition, taking place from 17 to 23 November 2025. Organised by the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), ESGW is a cross-border initiative aimed at raising awareness of safer gambling practices and fostering a strong culture of player protection across Europe.

Building on the success of the 2024 campaign – which saw participation from 195 partners across 26 countries and reached over 3.1 million people via social media – this year’s ESGW will feature a comprehensive programme of events, workshops, and a coordinated online campaign. The week provides a platform for stakeholders – including operators, regulators, technology providers, support organisations, and experts by experience – to share best practices, discuss regulatory developments, and promote resources available for safer gambling.
